New Quoting Rules for Nasdaq Securities - Effective March 31, 2003
The Nasdaq NQDS datafeed will no longer provide the best bids and offers from all markets and market makers quoting Nasdaq securities. NQDS will only provide quotation data from the Nasdaq Stock Market and the Chicago Stock Exchange, which participates in SuperMontage.
The SEC requires that any quote display that includes NQDS data must also include all markets trading a Nasdaq-listed security.
RealTick's MarketMaker display will now include the BBO from each exchange, the individual quotations of each Nasdaq quoting participant, and the individual quotations of each ADF quoting participant.
