Short Sales on ARCA During Listed Halts - Effective August 29, 2003
Until further notice, to ensure correct pricing of listed short sales on ArcaEx, any short sale order in a listed non-ETF stock that resides on the ArcaEx book will be cancelled if and when that stock is halted. If a short sale order in a listed non-ETF stock is sent during the period of the halt, it will be rejected.
Once the halt has ended and a Halt Auction has been conducted to reopen the stock, short sale orders will once again be accepted and processed according to regular ArcaEx trading rules.
